Bookcrossing Event

About Bookcrossing

The word "bookcrossing" (n. the practice of leaving a book in a public place to be picked up and read by others, who then do likewise) was added to the eleventh edition Concise Oxford English Dictionary in August 2004. The term was coined originally by Ron Hornbaker, when he created the BookCrossing site in 2001.

Limerick member froodie has collected and registered books from friends, colleagues and other members and will be releasing them over the weekend.

What's going on?

Keep your eyes peeled while you're on Catherine Street this weekend. If you see a lost and lonely-looking book, check it out. if it has a bookcrossing label on the inside cover, take it home, log on to bookcrossing, com to register it, read it if you like, and then send it on its way again! Simple
